Swiss Bliss
Ingredients
- ½ tbsp butter
- 2 lb chuck steak (1 inch thick) (can substitute chuck roast)
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- ½ lb mushrooms sliced
- ½ green pepper, sliced
- ¼ tsp salt and pepper
- 1 lb can tomatoes, drained and reserve juice, chop tomatoes
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 20-inch heavy-duty aluminum foil
Directions
- Spread center of aluminum foil with butter or margarine
- Cut steak into serving portions and place on foil
- Sprinkle with onion soup mix, mushrooms, green pepper and tomatoes
- Mix juice and cornstarch pour over meat and vegetables
- Bring foil up and over and double fold edges to seal tightly
- Bake 11/2 to 2 hours in oven at 375 degrees
- Roll back foil and sprinkle with parsley
