Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white or brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 - 1/2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Cream together sugar and butter.
- Mix in remaining ingredients.
- Chill the dough for 3 to 4 hours before rolling.
- Preheat oven to 375 Roll and cut.
- Place cookies on a greased cookie sheet.
- Decorate them with sugar, cinnamon, or candies.
- Or bake them alone and drop into a bag of confectionary sugar.
- Bake 7 to 12 minutes.
