Quick Kolacky
A jelly rolled pastry in the perfect size to snack.
Polish cookies
Ingredients
- 8oz cream cheese
- 1/2 lb butter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Solo preserves (or baking preserves)
Directions
- Cream the butter and cheese together, then work in the flour which has been sifted with the baking powder and sugar.
- Knead to form a stiff dough.
- Roll out about 1/4 inch thick; cut into rounds or squares and fill centers with any Solo preserves in the middle (about 1 tsp). Fold the opposite corners over each other. Pinch and/or use a drop of water to seal and pinch shut.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until done.
