Monkey Bread

Ingredients

  • 4 packages biscuits (10 oz.) not buttermilk
  • 2/3-cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1-cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ sticks margarine or butter
  • Optional chopped nuts may be added

Directions

  1. Cut biscuits in quarters and roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  2. Grease a bundt pan.
  3. Arrange 2 packages of the biscuits in pan.
  4. Boil brown sugar and margarine until mixture looks foamy or like syrup.
  5. Pour ½ of mixture over biscuits.
  6. Continue with balance of biscuits.
  7. Pour remaining butter and sugar over all
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  9. Invert pan immediately.
  10. Pull pieces off and eat to your enjoyment.

Usually holiday breakfast.
