Monkey Bread
Ingredients
- 4 packages biscuits (10 oz.) not buttermilk
- 2/3-cup sugar
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1-cup brown sugar
- 1 ½ sticks margarine or butter
- Optional chopped nuts may be added
Directions
- Cut biscuits in quarters and roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture.
- Grease a bundt pan.
- Arrange 2 packages of the biscuits in pan.
- Boil brown sugar and margarine until mixture looks foamy or like syrup.
- Pour ½ of mixture over biscuits.
- Continue with balance of biscuits.
- Pour remaining butter and sugar over all
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
- Invert pan immediately.
- Pull pieces off and eat to your enjoyment.
Usually holiday breakfast.
