Hummus
Ingredients
- 2 can chickpeas (drained)
- 1/2 c chicken broth
- 1/2 c tahini
- 1/3 c warm water
- 1/4 c olive oil
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- cayenne pepper to taste
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in food processor.
- Whirl until a smooth and spreadable texture.
- When ready to serve, drizzle olive oil on top of the hummus and sprinkle with paprika.
- Serve with pita bread, crusty French baguette slices, carrots, celery or cucumbers.
