Hot Mushroom Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped green onion
- 4 T butter
- 2 T flour
- 1 T milk
- 1 c. sour cream (or unflavored Greek yogurt)
- 1/2 tsp salt, pepper, paprika
- a dash of liquid hot pepper sauce
Directions
- Saute mushrooms and onions in butter or margarine.
- Sprinkle with flour, blend and brown lightly.
- Add milk and half of the sour cream.
- Continue cooking and stirring over low heat until mushrooms are tender.
- Add seasonings and remaining sour cream.
- Serve hot with toast triangles and toasted wheat crackers.
