Four Plus Ingredient Bagels
Simple no rise bagels
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt, strained
- 1 egg whisked (egg wash)
Optional Toppings
- sesame seeds
- Trader Joe's everything bagel seasoning
- Graded Cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Line a large cooking tray with parchment paper or spray 1. Mix yogurt and flour (baking soda for non self rising flour)
- Kneed dough until dough is smooth.
- Roll into balls and using index finger and thumb create a hold in the middle and stretch the dough until the shape resembles a bagel.
- Brush tops with egg wash and add sesame seeds or Everything bagel seasoning.
- Bake for 24 minutes or until brown.
