Four Plus Ingredient Bagels

Simple no rise bagels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt, strained
  • 1 egg whisked (egg wash)

Optional Toppings

  • sesame seeds
  • Trader Joe's everything bagel seasoning
  • Graded Cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a large cooking tray with parchment paper or spray 1. Mix yogurt and flour (baking soda for non self rising flour)
  3. Kneed dough until dough is smooth.
  4. Roll into balls and using index finger and thumb create a hold in the middle and stretch the dough until the shape resembles a bagel.
  5. Brush tops with egg wash and add sesame seeds or Everything bagel seasoning.
  6. Bake for 24 minutes or until brown.
