Corned Beef and Cabbage
Ingredients
- 1 large cabbage head (cleaned and cubed into one inch squared)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 can corned beef
Directions
- Place cabbage in pot
- Add 2 cups of water.
- Add salt, sugar and black pepper over cabbage.
- Then add oil and cook covered for 45 minutes.
- Then add corned beef over cabbage, cover and continue to cook 20 more minutes.
This recipe is from Tom and Sam's Great Grandma. I usually just dumped all the ingredients in a crock pot and cooked low the whole day.
