Corned Beef and Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 large cabbage head (cleaned and cubed into one inch squared)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can corned beef

Directions

  1. Place cabbage in pot
  2. Add 2 cups of water.
  3. Add salt, sugar and black pepper over cabbage.
  4. Then add oil and cook covered for 45 minutes.
  5. Then add corned beef over cabbage, cover and continue to cook 20 more minutes.

This recipe is from Tom and Sam's Great Grandma. I usually just dumped all the ingredients in a crock pot and cooked low the whole day.
