Apple Dip

Ingredients

  • 6 small Granny Smith apples
  • 1 - 8 oz block of cream cheese
  • 6 oz - confectioner sugar (use more sugar if you’d like)
  • 3 - 1.7 oz T. Marzetti's caramel apple dip singles (total of 10.2 oz)
  • 4 oz Heath toffee chips (The bag is 8 oz, so only use half a bag)
  • lemon juice or Fruit Fresh to keep apples from turning

Directions

  1. Cut apples and coat with lemon juice or Fruit Fresh.
  2. Drain apples thoroughly to prevent them from getting soggy.
  3. With an electric mixer or food processor, combine room temperature cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture on a platter or tray with parchment paper, leaving a corner for the sliced apples.
  5. Microwave caramel in microwave-safe bowl for 20 seconds or more. (Just enough to make it pourable).
  6. Pour caramel over cream cheese mixture and spread.
  7. Top with toffee chips.
