Apple Dip

Ingredients

  • granny smith apples
  • 1 block of cream cheese
  • confectioner's sugar (I used about 1/3 of the box, but some prefer more)
  • 16.5 oz container T. Marzetti's caramel apple dip
  • Heath toffee chips
  • lemon juice or Fruit Fresh to keep apples from turning

Directions

  1. Cut apples and coat with lemon juice or Fruit Fresh.
  2. Drain apples thoroughly to prevent them from getting soggy.
  3. With an electric mixer or food processor, combine cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture on a platter.
  5. Microwave caramel in microwave-safe bowl for 20 seconds (just enough to make it pourable).
  6. Pour caramel over cream cheese mixture and spread.
  7. Top with toffee chips.
